Explore Cappadocia with a Private Tour Led by a Spanish Guide
Embark on a captivating journey led by your experienced and licensed Spanish-speaking guide, who will pick you up from your hotel.
Begin your day with a visit to the Esentepe Panoramic viewpoint, where the picturesque landscape unfolds before you. Your guide will provide you with an introduction to Cappadocia, setting the stage for your adventure.
Continue your exploration to the Kaymakli Underground City—a refuge used by early Christians to evade their adversaries. Following this unique underground experience, we’ll visit the Uchisar Castle—a natural rock hill that served as a Roman fortress. Adorned with cave dwellings and pigeon houses, the area boasts a distinctive charm. Uchisar Castle’s prominence as the highest point in Cappadocia adds to its allure.
Our next stop is the Pigeon Valley viewpoint, offering the perfect backdrop for capturing stunning photographs. We’ll then proceed to the Goreme Open Air Museum.
This museum was once a bustling monastic settlement, a haven for Cappadocia’s first Christians. Explore cave churches adorned with breathtaking frescoes and discover living quarters complete with kitchens and dining spaces.
Lunch will be served at an authentic Cave Restaurant in Avanos.
Avanos, known as a Pottery Village, preserves the tradition of pottery-making dating back to Hittite times (2000 BC). Immerse yourself in this ancient craft, which still utilizes the traditional kick wheel method. After a pottery demonstration at a family-run workshop, we’ll continue to Pashabagi.
Pashabagi, or Monks Valley, is another monastic settlement where Hermit Cells and Churches were constructed by Monks within the iconic three-headed Pinnacles—a symbol of the Holy Trinity. Witness the formation of fairy chimneys and then proceed to Devrent Valley and Imagination Valley, where the landscape takes on an otherworldly quality. Our journey includes a stop at the renowned Fairy Chimneys, where a world of enchantment awaits.
The day concludes as you return to your hotel around 17:00, leaving you with a tapestry of experiences and memories of Cappadocia’s unparalleled beauty and history, guided by your Spanish-speaking expert.
