3 Days Cappadocia Tour from Antalya by Plane

Upon making your reservation, you will receive your flight tickets. Upon arrival at the Cappadocia airport, you will be greeted by a transfer representative holding a sign with your name. The day will start with the Red tour, beginning with a visit to Devrent Valley, also known as “Imagination Valley,” which boasts a surreal-looking landscape. Next, you will visit Pashabagi, also known as the Monks Valley, where Christian hermits chose to build their hermit cells and churches in three-headed pinnacles symbolic of the Holy Trinity. It is possible to observe all the stages of fairy chimney formation at this site. Proceed to Avanos, the pottery center of Cappadocia, which is situated on the banks of the Red River. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, the tour will continue to the Goreme Open Air Museum, where you will find the world’s most important Byzantine cave churches in the once remote valleys where monks and nuns pursued monastic life from the 3rd century onward. You will see the best-preserved Byzantine cave wall paintings and frescoes from the Iconoclastic period to the end of Seljuk rule. Next, you will visit Esentepe, a panoramic viewpoint with a spectacular view over Goreme, where you can see the complete view of Goreme valley and village, including fairy chimneys, rock formations, and cave houses. Your day will conclude at Uchisar Castle, the highest point of the Goreme region. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel and spend the night at the Cave Suite Hotel.

Day 2

(Optional: Pre-sunrise hot-air balloon flight. Hotel pickup: around 06:30 during winter and 04:30 during summer. Dropoff: 8.00/30) The Blue tour will begin after pickup from your hotel at 9:45 am, starting with a hike along the Red and Rose Valley, which are the most breathtaking and mysterious valleys in the region. Your hike will conclude at Cavusin Cave Village, where you can marvel at the rock castle and troglodyte dwellings where people lived until the 20th century. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before descending towards the center of the earth with a trip to the Underground City, one of the largest and deepest of Cappadocia’s many underground settlements. Discover the underground city and its stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, churches, and wineries. Visit the Pigeon Valley and see a spectacular view of dove cotes (pigeon or dove houses), old abandoned cave homes, and old Greek houses of Uchisar, the biggest mass of fairy chimneys in Cappadocia. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 3

You will be picked up from your hotel, depending on your flight time, for your return flight to Antalya.
